Organizational Behavior and Strategy
The Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre (Conrad) at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a full-time tenure track position in Organizational Behavior and Strategy available from July 1, 2015. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, or in a very special case, Full Professor. Conrad will consider applicants with PhDs in Organizational Behavior, Strategy, Management, or related cognate disciplines. Those with successful entrepreneurial, consulting, or senior managerial work experience outside the academy will be viewed especially favorably.
We seek individuals who have demonstrated both the capacity to publish in top-tier research outlets, and a passion for teaching and coaching students. Duties include research, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and coaching student entrepreneurs. Teaching duties will likely be in the areas of Leadership and/or Strategy, as appropriate to the successful candidate’s expertise and Conrad’s teaching needs. An entrepreneurial outlook and interest in active engagement with colleagues and students in the growth and life of Conrad are essential. We seek candidates who will further reinforce Conrad’s positive, proactive, can-do culture.

Conrad also offers an undergraduate Option in Entrepreneurship.
The salary range for open rank professorial positions is $100K to 150K. Negotiations beyond this salary range will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
