Position Summary
The Department of Economics at the University of Regina invites applications for a one-year term position at the Lecturer/Assistant Professor level beginning 1 September 2015. The Department of Economics offers undergraduate degree and certificate programs in economics and a Master of Arts in Applied Economics and Policy Analysis.
The Department is particularly interested in candidates committed to excellence in teaching at all levels. A successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence by way of student evaluations of courses, teaching dossiers, and letters of reference. While areas of expertise are open, preference will be given to candidates with interest in research and teaching in the areas of economics of crime, public safety, and applied econometrics. Duties may include teaching core theory courses at all levels, as well as applied courses within the candidate's areas of specialization.

Requirements
Applicants should hold a PhD degree in Economics or be near completion of their degree.
