About the role

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and experienced leader and manager who has substantial demonstrable experience of undertaking a similar role within a Higher Education Institution.

This individual will have a proven track record in leading large-scale innovations in learning, teaching and assessment, and the ability to design appropriate academic practice activities, interventions and resources
which meet the diverse needs of academic staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the leadership, motivation and inspiration necessary to drive and operationalise the vision for learning, teaching and assessment across the University. Fostering strong collaborative working relationships with senior colleagues both within the Department and across the Institution will be key to achieving this ambition. Excellent leadership, management, communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are all essential for this post.
